THIS IS WHO WE ARE

We are the generation of them that seek Him, not just to have religious services but to bask in the presence of God and His Glory. We are those who have been hungry for more. We are the Ekklesia, the called out ones for purpose on purpose. We are building His kingdom and walking in the mantle and grace He has given us, to bring much harvest into His Kingdom. We gather to be congressional not just congregational, knowing we have a mandate as Kingdom citizens to equip, restore, and build His Kingdom on earth.

Senior Pastor

Pastor Luvell Stepter

Pastor Luvell Stepter is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Gathering. A native of Chicago, he accepted the call to ministry at age 11 and has spent his life serving the Church, developing leaders, and communicating the Word of God with clarity and conviction. His ministry is marked by a strong Kingdom and prophetic emphasis, a passion for biblical teaching, and a desire to see people equipped, restored, and transformed. Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Luvell is an author, entrepreneur, branding creative, and founder of F.L.A.M.E. Productions Inc. and Cuzzo, using each platform to inspire purpose and impact culture.

Karla ‘Lady K’ Stepter

Karla ‘Lady K’ Stepter serves alongside Pastor Luvell with wisdom, grace, and strength. An attorney by profession, a powerful intercessor, and a trusted voice in ministry, she brings leadership, counsel, discernment, and compassion to the life of The Gathering. Her heart for prayer and people helps cultivate an atmosphere where individuals and families can grow deeper in faith, purpose, and their relationship with God.

Matthew 25:35-40

At The Gathering Community Center Warehouse, our mission extends beyond our sanctuary. Inspired by the teachings of Christ in Matthew 25:35-40, we are dedicated to serving the whole person, tending to spiritual and material needs. We clothe, feed, offer job assistance, and work to be a tangible answer to the needs of our community — not just on holidays, but throughout the year.
