Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information The Gathering collects through this website and how we use it.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through forms on this site — such as your name, email address, mobile number, and any message you send us. We do not sell your information.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, to follow up on requests, and to send the church communications you signed up for. Access is limited to church staff and volunteers who need it for those purposes.
SMS and mobile information
If you opt in on our Text Updates page, we store your mobile number, your consent, the date and time of that consent, and the page where it was given, so we have a record of your opt-in.
Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use a messaging service provider solely to deliver our own messages to you.
Phone numbers collected at opt-in are used only for The Gathering text communications described at the time of opt-in: service reminders, events, ministry and outreach updates, schedule changes, church announcements, and occasional giving or fundraising information. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.
Keeping information secure
Submissions are stored in our church database with access controls in place. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or remove your information, or stop texting you, at any time. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out.
